NEWPORT, VERMONT

Newport is at the southern end of Lake Memphremagog (the alleged haunt of the Monster of Memphremagog ). It is just a couple of minutes west of I-91 (Exit 27), and is also accessible via Route 105 from the East and West, as well as Route 5 from the South and North.


From I-91--follow the connector (green line on the map)--to East Main Street (Routes 5 and 105--pink line) and turn left to Second Street. Or you can turn left (again following the green line) at the first major intersection (Clyde Street), left again on Glen Road, right on Mount Vernon Avenue, across the bridge to Main Street, then left on Second Street.
